
Our Story

T & R was founded in 2021, and we specialize in the service and repairs of Scania Vehicles. We like to compare T&R’s beginning to that of a Phoenix. Our company was established during one of the darkest times in human history, being something positive to come out of the pandemic tragedy.
“Having been one of the many people affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, my partner and I found ourselves in a position where we were hungry to make a change, and this entailed changing how we think and our perception of life in general. We had to rewire our thinking, we had to change our way of living, having to think of our future, our families’ future and the generation after us, and it was at that point we both knew that something had to give. We knew we had to make a change and gear up in order to work towards achieving our dreams and ambitions, and that is how T & R’s Mobile Workshop came about.”

- Our foreman is a qualified diesel mechanic with well over 9 years of experience working at Scania, Alrode.
- The admin and management are run by one of our partners, Tshepiso Murrure, who holds a postgraduate logistics qualification and has experience having been employed within the supply chain industry for just over 5 years.
- Thereby, we guarantee that we have the expertise and know-how required within the industry and more importantly, we understand how vital and critical our role is in your entities and within the different Supply Chain networks that our current and potential clients operate in. And that, we do not take for granted.

Our Future
Our vision for the future is to have operations across South Africa and expand our service offerings, as we are currently looking into venturing into trailer and tyre services. We believe this would be an opportunity not only for us but also for our clients as we would be a ‘one stop shop’, which will mean one less thing for our clients to worry about while we take care of the rest. This will also drive job creation, offer job security for our current employees, and increase our contribution towards our economy.
